Morphilus Wisdom Tree
Skiing the rapid journey to the Morphilus Wisdom Foundry. As seen from the Morphilus vantage point.

Well, I’ve now been using the Chromebook for nearly 2 weeks and making great progress substituting my 40 years of Windows muscle memory with Google alternatives.

A personal highlight was finding the alternative to Print Screen. On my Chromebook there is a function key that allows the capture of any portion of a screen you want. This is especially handy because previously I would often save a Print Screen which covered multiple screens, then copied into Paint and cropped it for use. This has become a regular time saver for me since I often use the screenshot feature when I’m asking AI to trouble shoot something for me….. which happens a lot!

A couple of times I have had to step outside the Google environment.

First was to create a music video. Google’s musicfx just wasn’t up to scratch so I slipped out to Suno which handled the task without glitching.

Second, to my surprise, at the recommendation Gemini I’m continuing to use n8n as my workflow generating tool instead of using Google Gem. (I’m separately pondering the move towards the myriad of options seeded by ClawdBot …… is this a leap frog moment?)

But on the other hand Nano Banana has replaced my use of Photoshop, even tho it does have a bit of a mind of its own rather than following what I felt were pretty explicit instructions.

The project that I’m working on with the Gemini environment is progressing well.

Under the heading of Morphilus Wisdom Foundry, I am building a pipeline that attempts to solve one of the most difficult challenges in AI adoption: capturing the “unconscious logic” of a seasoned business owner.

We’ve all seen AI that sounds like a corporate robot—it’s polished, but it sometimes lacks “Ground Truth.” The Wisdom Foundry is my experiment in building a digital bridge between a local business owner’s “Gut Feel” and a functional, automated system.

The concept is simple but powerful. I’ve broken it down into a three-step process that I call The Leak, The Mop, and The Fix.

The Leak: This is the problem. It’s that repetitive, manual task that drains an owner’s time and energy every day.

The Mop: This is the current, often inefficient way the owner handles that problem. It’s the manual workaround they’ve used for years because “that’s just how it’s done.”

The Fix: This is where the Foundry comes in. We take the “logic” behind the Mop and forge it into a permanent, automated solution that stops the Leak for good.

What makes the Foundry unique isn’t just the code; it’s the Human-in-the-Loop. I am currently assembling a “Refinery” of over 50 experienced associates, people with decades of “miles on the clock” in trades, retail, and manufacturing. These aren’t just testers; they are the “Referees” who ensure the AI isn’t just hallucinating, but is providing advice that actually works on a workshop floor or a shop front in Essendon.

By combining the speed of the Google Gemini environment with the “Ground Truth” of human experience, we are building something that doesn’t just automate tasks—it preserves and leverages wisdom.

I’ll be deep-diving into the technical architecture of the Foundry in a later post, but for now, the experiment is proving one thing: AI works best when it has a human partner who knows exactly where the spills are.

The “All-Google” transition continues. I’m finding that by removing the Windows “clutter,” I’m finally able to focus on the logic of the business rather than the maintenance of the machine.

Stay tuned for the next update as we move from the pipeline to the pavement.

Ready, Set, Go!
